How HBSOS works

Keep your marketing work connected.

HBSOS is the system I am developing to keep business information, brand decisions and marketing work connected. You can currently engage Digital Mastery for human-led diagnosis, Brand Seed development and agreed implementation work, while the broader software platform remains in development.

The names in plain language

What the names mean

01

Digital Mastery

The business you engage, with me leading the strategy and creative direction.

02

Holographic Brand Seed

A record of the business information, audience, offers, messaging and visual decisions needed for future work.

03

HBSOS

The Holographic Brand Seed Operating System, a broader software platform still in development.

Available now

Human-led services

Current work can include HBSOS Diagnosis, Brand Seed development, website or funnel work, campaign direction, content systems and brand design within an agreed engagement.

An initial enquiry helps establish which engagement fits. A paid diagnosis is useful when several issues need an in-depth review; a defined website or campaign project can begin through its service enquiry.

In development

The broader software layer

The broader software platform, including multi-client capabilities, remains in development. The available engagement is human-led work with Digital Mastery.

The problem

Why producing more can still leave the business stuck

A business can publish more, redesign more and spend more without becoming easier to understand.

The deeper problem appears when every project begins with another explanation of the company, suppliers work from different briefs and the decisions that hold everything together remain in the founder's head. Each deliverable may look acceptable on its own, yet the overall message becomes harder to recognise, trust and manage.

A simple test

Does every new supplier need the whole business explained again?

Repeatedly explaining the business takes time and can leave each supplier working from different assumptions. A shared reference gives them the information and decisions already agreed before they begin the next task.

Using the Brand Seed

Carry agreed decisions into the next project

For example, the audience, offer and supporting evidence recorded in the Brand Seed can become the starting brief for a website. The same agreed message can guide campaign creative, while the visual decisions give a designer a consistent reference.

A working reference for your team

Instead of asking each supplier to interpret the business from the beginning, you can share the relevant information and explain which decisions have already been agreed. The format and scope of the Brand Seed are established for your engagement.

Inside the Brand Seed

What the Brand Seed records

The Brand Seed draws on the approved business information, product facts, brand assets and reference images that should guide the work. Identify what is confirmed and what still needs review.

01

Business information

The purpose, value, priorities and constraints that should guide decisions.

02

Audience and demand

The people, situations and objections that shape the message and route.

03

Offer and journey

What is being offered, why it matters and the clearest path to action.

04

Brand and visual decisions

The distinctive meaning, tone, product facts and design choices worth protecting.

05

Information for collaborators

The agreed brief, relevant assets and constraints that people need to carry out the work.

The method

How the work unfolds

Discover

Examine the current condition, evidence, assets and commercial questions.

Record the decisions

Record the agreed business details and decisions in the Brand Seed.

Carry forward

Use the agreed information to brief a website, campaign, design or content project.

Learn responsibly

Review what is happening, retain human judgement and update only where evidence justifies it.

Who it helps

For the people carrying the business context for everyone else

This approach may suit a founder who carries most of the business knowledge, or a marketing lead coordinating several people and channels. The useful starting point is agreeing which information everyone needs and who is responsible for keeping it current.

Already working with a team or supplier? Tell me who creates the work, who approves it and what information they currently use. This helps establish the brief and responsibilities for the proposed engagement.

A shared brief still needs accurate inputs, clear responsibilities and human review.

Founders briefing several suppliers

Create a source of truth that others can work from without constant re-explanation.

Marketing leads coordinating teams

Help internal teams, agencies and specialists work from the same decisions and boundaries.

Businesses coordinating several brands

Establish shared information for the people responsible for different brands and channels.

Choosing a first step

Discuss the work you need

Tell me what your team is trying to coordinate. I’ll review the enquiry and help identify a suitable first step. You can also go directly to a focused service if the project is already clear.

A focused next step

A shared foundation can support a specific journey

When the business and brand decisions are sufficiently clear, you can commission funnel planning or a conversion psychology review as defined projects. These are human-led services; they do not depend on access to the HBSOS software under development.
